Indian National Security Adviser M. K. Narayanan has warned the Persian Gulf states to brace for a new wave of al Qaeda attacks. At a regional security conference in Bahrain on Dec. 9, Narayanan said the recommendation is based on intelligence gathered by India that al Qaeda had established new training camps along the Afghan-Pakistani border that are generating “super-tough and committed terrorists.”
