U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice pressed rival Kenyan political parties Feb. 18 to reach a power-sharing deal, saying that Kenyan-U.S. relations are at risk. Though some aspects of that relationship may well be at risk, the United States cannot jeopardize counterterrorism cooperation with Kenya.
